SUNGARDEN MONTESSORI ADMISSIONS PROCESS

1) Sign up to attend our Open House on Saturday, January 11th.

In leu of a tour we host periotic Open House events which are an opportunity for you and your child to visit SunGarden and learn more about our school. The Open House is a chance to meet our staff and explore the various environments of the school to determine if SunGarden might be a good fit for your family.

2) Classroom Observation

After attending an Open House, you will have the opportunity to schedule a 30 minute classroom Observation after which you will meet with SunGarden’s Leadership Team. The meeting with Administration will be a time when we will discuss your child’s individual needs and how the Montessori philosophy at SunGarden supports each child on their own path to learning.

*Applications will be available after the observation

3) Submit Your Application

You will be provided a link after your observation to create a Brightwheel account . You can download the enrollment application and submitted it electronically. You will then be invoiced for the non-refundable fee of $150 for each application. We fill spaces as they become available in accordance with our enrollment guidelines. If no opening is available for immediate consideration or your application is for a future enrollment cycle, we will place your application in our waiting pool.

We consider balancing enrollment for age and gender, suitability of the child and the family to the Montessori approach, and (if applicable) prior Montessori experience. Above all, we seek families who are willing to commit to a partnership with SunGarden in providing their children with the best possible Montessori and early learning experience. Therefore, acceptance into the program is determined based on program availability, and each family’s commitment to the above-noted factors.

 4) Acceptance And Enrollment

Once your child is accepted, you will receive an acceptance letter and enrollment agreement. A completed enrollment agreement and returned program deposit will reserve your child’s space at SunGarden Montessori.
